Brief Intro The mission of the Yale School of Management is to educate leaders for business and society. Since its founding in 1976, the school has gained international recognition for its innovative approach to management education. In 2006, the school introduced the Yale Management Integrated Curriculum, replacing traditional single-subject courses with multidisciplinary courses. Yale SOM is also the first major MBA program to require study abroad, taking first-year students on a two-week International Experience trip to locations around the world, where they interact with business, cultural and political leaders. Yale SOM offers a two-year full-time MBA degree, along with a Ph.D. program, executive education, and an MBA for Executives program tailored for health care professionals.
