  We are a successful niche workflow software provider to the Financial Services and related industries. We have a rapidly growing portfolio of major household Banking and other names relying on our middle office software products for their regulatory compliance. The role has come available as part of a succession plan to replace the current head of sales in the coming year 2009.  
 
 
 
Experience & Skills:
We are looking for either a sales manager from the financial services market place who brings the value of contacts or a proven software sales professional with direct experience of selling product up to £300k per installation. If you have both then you are ideal. Either person will have:

A demonstrable track record of success as a sales person
 
A record of managing a high performing sales team
 
A degree level qualification ?you don抰 need to be an MBA but something relevant will assist you.
 
Obvious leadership skills and desire to grow people
 
High energy and professionalism.
 
Experience of managing the full software sales lifecycle
 
Negotiating and influencing skills including in verbal presentation or written proposal form.
 
Experience of navigating complex political environments in client organisations and winning support for the solution and the sale.
 
   An ability to work in a small company environment and do what has to be done to win the business.
 
The maturity to step back from the detail and work with the CEO, marketing and product development teams to develop our competitive advantage and strategy.

The Role and Responsibilities:
This is a broad remit for a senior sales person with demonstrable sales management talent, you will:
?Lead and inspire a sales team of five plus, currently, a business analyst and project manager.
?Lead by example, take the lead in major sales pitches and work with the team to convert sales.
?Execute the sales strategy and drive sales success by winning new business and via organic growth.
