The Team Lead/Senior Category Manager plays an overarching role in the team, taking overall responsibility for project delivery and where applicable expanding the remit of those projects / engagement to the mutual benefit of 4C and our clients.  
 
 
 
The Role
The Team Lead / Senior Category Manager plays an overarching role in the team, taking overall responsibility for project delivery and where applicable expanding the remit of those projects / engagement to the mutual benefit of 4C and our clients.

The role will be primarily based in one of 4C抯 major outsource clients near Thames Valley, London or Birmingham, and will be working within the larger Outsourced Procurement Services and Consultancy team resource pool responsible for supporting the procurement projects we manage on behalf of our various clients. The job may require travel.

Key Responsibilities
Areas of responsibility will include taking on both project and non-project related tasks such as:

Managing the client engagement
 
Managing a team of procurement professionals
 
Responsible for on time, on budget delivery of multiple concurrent projects; tracking and flexing resources to meet project / engagement requirements
   Responsible for mapping and driving stakeholder and vendor base to meet engagement and project objectives
 
Identifying and developing new business opportunities within existing client relationships
 
Manage teams of client and/or internal resources in project delivery
 
This role may involve developing or leading a 4C internal Operational Area (ie. Knowledge Management, Learning & Development, Category Expertise areas, etc.)
